Tubing Specification
Most of the tube sizes can be varied on either axis by small amounts without modification to the tooling. The working length of the tube is 33" and the length of tube required for this process is 40".
Any size can be produced to customer's specification, provided that the perimeter of the required section is the same as the circumference of a standard tube size. Mild steel, 4130, T45 and Titanium can be formed to within a tolerance of +/- 0.005".
Wind tunnel model tube and special sizes are a speciality. All tube formed by SPA Aerofoils Ltd is subject to SPA terms and conditions.
