Fire Sense and SPA Extreme Extinguisher Systems

SPA offer a full range of both electrical and mechanical FIA approved fire suppression systems.

These have been specifically designed for use in competion vehicles offering the latest in on board fire protection. Utilising SPA "Lite" AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) these non-toxic ozone friendly extinguisher systems give the competitor the same level of protection whether driving Formula 1, WRC or Clubmans Saloon.

Our 4 litre and 3.375 litre FIA homologated systems are tested and observed by the BSI institute to FIA standards.

We have added to our range of FIA approved fire extinguishers the brand new SPA extreme system using 3M'S Novec 1230 a next generation Halon replacement.

Carrying the latest FIA homologation EX.029.09. tested stringently to this standard, this is the latest offering in fire protection. Over 18 months of research has been invested in this system providing one of the most effective fire suppression systems to date, not only is this extremely effective it represents a true environmentally friendly non toxic product  that leaves no residue and has no effect on delicate electronics.

When purchasing an SPA fire suppression system you can be confident that these have been rigorously tested in conjunction with the BSI and MSA and fully conform to the latest FIA regulations for competition vehicles.

The 4 litre Multi-Flo systems and SPA Extreme were designed specifically for use in closed cockpit cars i.e. Saloon, Rally and Sports cars. Here at SPA we take fire protection seriously and truly believe we offer the best in car fire protection products available anywhere in the world.

In addition to our lightweight aluminium systems we also offer FIA approved steel bottles MFM400S and MFM75S fire suppression systems that provide the competitor a cost effective alternative with the same performance of our more expensive alloy and carbon fibre fire extinguisher systems.
